How to Make the kanda bhaje ?


2 large onions slices thinly
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
1 tsp. chilli powder ( less or more according to taste )
1 tsp. Dhania - jeera powder
1/2 tsp. ajwain ( carom seeds )
besan ( chickpea flour ) as required

METHOD:

firstly takes the onions and slices thinly.then to take the chilli powder,salts,dhania-jeera powder
and thinly slices of onion.then the all above contains are mixed in water with the besan little by little till the slice of onion can be held together to from bhejia. after this procedure takes the oil in the clean khadai/pan put on the gas then in that hot oil, drop the peace of above mixture.then to make the golden colour of these peace to take out of the hot oil and serve hot with choice of sauce or chutny or just a cup of tea.

Ingredients for Dum Aloo
Potato : 250 gm
Garam masala : ½ tsp.
Tomato : 100 gm
Jeera : ¼ tsp.
Dhaniya powder : 1½ tsp.
Hing : 1 pinch
Red chilly powder and Haldi powder : ½ tsp. each
Oil for tadaka : 2 tbsp.
Salt : 1 tsp.
Coriander leaves : For flavour

How to prepare Aloo Dum or Dum Aloo: Peel the potatoes. Cut them into small cubes. Grate the tomato and keep aside. Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add jeera and hing together. Add tomato and cook till done. Add potatoes and fry for 2 minutes. Add dhaniya, red chilly, haldi, salt and garam masala. Add two glassfuls of water. Cover it with lid. After one whistle, simmer the gas for 5-7 minutes. Transfer it to a bowl. Sprinkle some coriander leaves. Serve hot with Bedmi Puri.
