top rice receipe mushroom pulao :


Ingredients
1.2 cup rice (chawal)
2.3 onion (pyaj)
3.200 gm mushroom
4.200 gm cottage cheese (paneer)
5.2 capsicum (shimla mirch)
6.5-6 cauliflower (phool gobi) pieces
7.4 cloves (laung)
8.2 cinnamon pieces (dalchini)
9.2 bay leaf (tej patta)
10.6 tbsp clarified butter (ghee)
11.2 tsp salt (namak)

13.ginger-garlic paste 1/2 tbsp
How to make mushroom pulao :

1.Soak rice for half an hour or so.
2.Boil rice in a container until it gets cooked properly and water dries up.
3.Finely chop onion.
4.Cut paneer cubes.
5.Cut cabbage into fine long pieces.
6.Cut mushroom into slices.
7.Heat ghee in a pan and fry paneer until light brown.
8.Take them out and keep aside.
9.Now fry onion in the pan until it turns pink.
10.Then add laung, dalchini, tej patta ,ginger-garlic paste and mushroom. Fry for few minutes.
11.Then add shimla mirch, phool gobi, namak and paneer cubes along with little water. 12.Cook at low flame.
13.When vegetables are cooked properly,add cooked rice into them and fry on medium heat for 3to4 minites. remove it from the flame.
14.Serve them hot.

Sweet Pongal Recipe Sakkarai Pongal with Milk

Ingredients:

1 cup Raw Rice
1/2 cup Green Gram Dal
1 cup Milk
3 cups Jaggery (powdered)
4 tbsp Ghee
2 tbsp Cashewnuts
2 tbsp Raisins
5 no Cardamoms (powdered)
2 no Cloves (powdered)
1 small piece Nutmeg (grated or powdered)
A pinch of Saffron
2 1/2 cups Water


Method
:

1. Roast dry the green gram dal for a couple of minutes.
2. Cook the rice and green gram dhal with 2 1/2 cups of water and 1 cup milk in the microwave and set aside.
3. Dissolve the jaggery in 3/4 cup water and cook on a low heat till the jaggery melts.
4. Strain the jaggery to remove the dirt.
5. Put the syrup once more on the heat and stir till it becomes slightly sticky.
6. Add the cooked rice and dhal.
7. Heat the 4 tbsp ghee.
8. Fry the cashewnuts and raisins and add to the pongal.
9. Add the powdered cardamoms, cloves nutmeg and saffron.
10. Mix well and serve hot.


Sakkarai Pongal with Milk


This uses Milk as one of the main ingredients along with Rice.

Ingredients

* 1 1/2 cups Raw Rice
* 3 cups Milk
* 1/4 cup Moong Dal
* 12 Cashewnuts
* 15 Kishmish pieces
* 1 cup Jaggery (grated)
* 1/4 teaspoon Saffron (crushed)
* 1 teaspoon Cardamom powder
* 4 tablespoons ghee or more
* 2 teaspoons of grated Coconut pieces

Method:

1. Wash the rice and dal several times. Add Milk and pressure cook.As soon as the rice and dal are cooked to softness, add jaggery and ghee. Please cook on medium fire for some time.
2. In the meantime you can fry Cashew nuts and coconut grated in one teaspoon ghee and keep them ready.
3. Kishmish also can be fried little . Now add cashew, Kishmish coconut (all fried in ghee) and saffron, and cardamom powder. Bring to one or two good boils Stir well. Add more ghee and serve.

Ingredients
  1. Cooked rice -4 cups
  2. Carrots - 1cup
  3. Red Capsicum -1cup
  4. Green capsicum - 1 cup
  5. Peas -1 cup
  6. Soya sauce - 3 tbsp
  7. Salt -1.5 tspRed chilly sauce- 2 tsp
  8. Green chilly -2 large
  9. Red chilly powder-1 tsp
  10. Kitchen king masala-1/2 tsp
  11. Pepper -1/2 tspchopped
  12. green onions-2 tsp
  13. vinegar - 1 tsp
  14. garlic -2 tsp
  15. onion - 1 cup
  16. Oil - 3tbsp
Method:
  1. Take some oil in a heavy bottomed pan.Then add onion and garlic saute till it turns transparent .
  2. Then add green chillies and saute for additional 3 mins .
  3. Now add carrots ,peas and mushrooms and saute for 3 mins .
  4. Now add salt ,chilly powder, red chilly sauce and soya sauce and saute till the vegetables turn a bit brown.
  5. Now add vinegar to it amd mix well.
  6. Now add all the bell peppers and saute for 1 min.
  7. Then add the cooked rice and mix well add 1 tsp of red chilly paste with 1 tsp of soya sauce.
  8. Remove from the stove and add chopped green onions.
  9. Serve hot and relish the fried rice.
